I was trying to reach Chappel London for three weeks asking them to grant permission to use their materials for the Dip ABRSM (two copies to be given to the examiners). However there was no reply since. I am so nervous because the exam is on next Wednesday. I tried to contact them twice but there was no reply yet. I don't know what I should do.....

If it's that urgent, buy another copy of the music. Problem solved.

Or if you can't get hold of another copy phone them directly then they'll have to speak to you straight away....

One copy to the examiners is enough.

Yes, you only need one copy of the music. It's two copies of the Programme Notes.

I agree that you should phone them directly - but get them to email their consent to you straight away, because you need to take written verification into the exam that you have their permission to use photocopies.

Yes and yes. Refer back to your original thread and my latest advice there.

Yes, I want to get hold of an original copy. But it is hard to buy,

Chappel London 1928 Edition of Gershwin...

Do you think anyone can help me?

Binky, have you telephoned them or just e-mailed.

Try and find a phone number.

Or email again. The original one has probably slipped down their inbox and been forgotten about. Phoning seems a good idea though.
