I absolutely love this piece! It's totally breathtaking. Reminds me of the wandering hills of the River Tees with the middle section being High Force! Love it ! <3

I take it the piece is nothing like the Rite of Spring, then...?!

Yes, since RUSTLE of Spring is a PIANO piece whereas RITE of Spring is an ORCHESTRAL piece

I was given the score today by my old school music teacher - it's very nice and all, but quite tricky rhythm-wise...note wise it's not too bad

Have heard it, its a lovely piece!
Also have the score, but the rhythm looks hard
What grade (approx) is it?

I just got this piece the other day from my piano teacher and I really like it. She played it for me and it seems really impressive. Although probably not when I attempt it.

I am starting to feel old. When I was a student every one knew this piece! It used to be played at many a music competition whan there was no set work. So did John Ireland's "Ragamuffin" too but it is ages since I heard that played, except by me.

Yeah, it was a joke, Chris.
