Amazing piece is John Beck's Sonata for Timpani - it's great fun and a really cool piece! Also Ross Edwards' Marimba Dances, Mitchell Peters - Yellow after the Rain and Mayazumi Xylophone Concertino! Great stuff ...

So far all I've learnt to play is what I've needed for exams, which is a tragically small amount of tunes. For Grade 1 I played Deck the Halls and John Browns Body, and for Grade 2 I played Ash Grove and Marching Through Georgia. It's a start.... dry.gif wink.gif

I've played in Rosauro's Marimba Concerto which is an awesome piece! Originally for Marimba and strings, but my wind orchestra have accompanied it too biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
