hi im doing my grade 5 flute exam at Christmas! Anyone else out there doing grade 5 flute soon?

Am maybe doing Grade 5 flute at Christmas but not sure becasuse i have prelims and am doing my grade 5 theory in November. Im playing Sicilienne by Faure but havent decided anything else yet!

I am ! I'm doing the handel sonata in f major,the siesta from summermusic and the Rumba.

I'm doing the gd. 5 flute in the winter don't know what i'm doing yet as am enjoying loadsa different stuff at the moment!!!

I think i'm doing my grade 5 in march next year. I'll probably play Tico Tico and one of the studys out of the 76 graded studies book seems i already have those books!!

When I was looking at doind grade 5 flute before my new teacher decided that she wanted me to do grade 6...I had played:

Faure sicilienne which is lovely
Gluck (Orpheous) Dance of the Blessed spirits which is even nicer
Study 44 Rumba from 76 Graded studies book 1

These pieces were lovely and the study is very fun to play because of the timing/rhythm and the tempo

I'm not doing grade 5 Flute...But I am doing grade 3 flute on 10th June....5 weeks!! And I just had my theory exam yesterday grade 5 on Saturday... o_0

The arithmetic seems to have gone into reverse there! However, even if you meant 10th July that's only 3 weeks and 1 day from 18th June (the date on your message).

Yep....I just realised...Cuz my flute teacher confused me...lol She said on the last week of July...So I thought..ahhh 5 weeks...Plenty of time! Then just realised I only have 3 weeks!!
