I am a grade 8 pianist who is looking to start a soft rock band with a friend of mine, who plays guitar and sings. We are looking for somewhere where we can jam for practice but I am limited in my knowledge of appropriate places.

Do any of you know somewhere in London that would be suitable for this, preferably with access to a piano? Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you,

Stuart.

I'd offer my london flat, but it's got sound restrictions.

I'd go for a garage. I'd offer my one there again, but it's got a car in it!

Hi

In this months music teacher, there is an ad for markson pianos which mentions practise and teaching rooms. There were 3 numbers:

8 Chester Court, Albany Street, NW1 4BU 0800 0748 0980
49 Fortress Rd, Kentish Town, NW5 1AD 0800 2987 385
36 Artillery Place, Woolwich, SE18 4AB 0800 2987 384

Also while I was looking for the ad for you I came across another ad from the BVA and Royal Academy of Music doing 3 days of interactive Rock and Pop workshops in August link www.british-voice-association.com 020 7713 0064

Hope this helps
