It is one of my biggest ambitions to be a proffesional flute player. I have dreamed of playing the flute for years even though i have only been having lessons for about 9 months (after taking over from recorder) im only on about grade 3 so i have a long way to go but i think a career in music is a dream for anyone who plays an instrument

If youve only been playing for 9 months and ur at a grade 3 standard already is incredibly good. Ive been playing for 6 years and iam doing my grade 8 in April well so my flute teacher told me today anyway! I also progressed from the recorder to the flute but i still play the recorder. Id love to be a pro flute player but i dont think it will ever happen! I play an instrument I enjoy and have alot of fun playing in bands and orchestras Its something i love and i hope this love for music wont go!

Wow im impressed!!Grade 3 after 9 months!! its taken me 3 and a bit years to get to grade 6 (which i found out i passed today hurrah!! )Yeh id luv to b a pro flute player but if that doesnt happen i gess ill settle for being a music teacher instead.

9 months and grade 3 is quite good. keep it up. but remember you dont have to be a professional to enjoy performing etc. there are symphony orchestras in every city that comprises of semi professionals. so dont worry. i passed my grade 8 last july.and im goin on to diploma whether i become professional or not.
