Good for you! I would love to play the drums, but I have enough instruments to keep me busy at the minute! But never say never wink.gif I am sure you will have great fun learning the drums. Are you using books too?

Wahey! Go for it! biggrin.gif I don't think there are many instruments more enjoyable to play than the drums! In case you're interested, Rockschool do excellent drum kit grades, and it's well worth getting some of their examination stuff to learn from, even if you don't plan to take any exams.
Good luck with the learning! smile.gif

Does drums have grades too.... blink.gif

I believe they do have grades for drums, not sure of all the boards that do them though, although I have seen one of my piano pupils with a Guildhall drum book. You'd have to ask around the forums, for advice! There must be books you can buy for drums, other than the graded books. Try checking out your local music shop, or online, I am sure you could find books to interest you.

Yep there are several exam boards that do grade exams for drum kit. Personally I would recommend Rockschool. Their style is totally different from everyone else, and most people find them a lot more enjoyable, comfortable, and less nerve-wracking than other exams. This doesn't mean that they are of a lower standard though, they're just conducted differently.

Here's their website!
