To whom it may concern
I have entered my daughter for the end of year exam in Hong Kong in March this year without knowing she is astigmatic then(-450 on each eye). Her eye condition was confirmed in April and the doctor said it should take her around 1/2 year to "correct" the optical image in her brain. Meanwhile, her vision is of around 70% of norm even with corrective lens.
Upon receiving the exam entry confirmation last week I contacted the HKEAA about this and was only told to hand in the medical report and a written request as soon as possible. Unfortunately, my daughter's ophthalmologist is on holiday and won't be back till the end of this month. I am wondering if it will be too late to request for an enlarged sight reading score till then and is there any other things that I do?
