No safari for me dear. We've done that last year. Didn't someone get eaten by wild animals??
Any way. We have the best suite at the Dorchester.
I'll just ring for room service, and we'll have some champers.
May.

Mar 1 2008, 12:31 PM
Orf we go then Tickles. Seem to have lorst Addy , Liddy, Summat and Wossie, Joanie and Jeannie.
Now I'm not going to Horrids , they have some very funny ideas in there, so we'll go to some excloosive shops in Knightsbridge instead. Then later we'll go up the Convent Garden for my feather, a glass of wine and listen to the buskers.. That OK for you dear???
Great Aunt May, who has a feeling that everyone will want to come too.

Oooh, look at the pretty flower ladies!
The Old Lady
Mar 1 2008, 12:40 PM
Lovely tickles. Now then , what do you think of this dress for my solo performance in Anglesea??

Do you like the customized bow for my double bass Tickles?? It's very elegant, and just right for my age. Can't stand mutton dressed as lamb eh?
What are you going to buy dear??
May.
miss_tickle_thea
Mar 1 2008, 12:44 PM
Very chic dear, well I've got myself some nice diamond-encrusted organ shoes, and a good bargain of three teapots for the price of one.
Now, what do you think, I can do better than all those buskers over there can't I!?
The Old Lady
Mar 1 2008, 12:51 PM

I say Rhonda, you had them on their knees there my old gel. That was priceless. Your rendition of the theme from Crossroads was very modern indeed. Look how much we have made. It's enough to take you , moi and Tickles to dinner at the Ritz. Well done dear.
TAXI
Great Aunt May.

The Old Lady
Mar 1 2008, 09:05 PM
Ah, a girl after mu own heart
Where shall we go after the Ritz?? Or shall we go back to the Dorchester and have a night cap in the celebrity bar??
Love your dress Tickles, suits a woman of your years

Lovely wings, though I'm not sure what the taxi driver thought of them.
May.

The Old Lady
Mar 2 2008, 01:27 PM
Well that was jolly good Tickles. Do you think the leading lady minded when you stepped onto the stage to do her part?? Such a shame she got a coughing fit. YOu were very good Tickles, did you have a nice date with the leading man afterwards??
May.
miss_tickle_thea
Mar 2 2008, 01:31 PM

The Old Lady
Mar 2 2008, 01:54 PM

The Old Lady
Mar 2 2008, 02:02 PM

Shall we go back home now Tickles, and make ready for Anglesea?? Mutters" must find my recorder."

Borrow my mouth organ dear, it's in here in the old kit bag along with all them troubles that I'd forgotten about. 'Ere, let's chuck 'em in the Thames!
Great grandson no 1's birthday today. Where has the time gone. 9 Today! I think we should all get together and bake him a great big cake.
Panad anyone?
Maybe we could put on a concert party. Addy could sing her Terrapin Song. I could sing about me bells- its in French you know... or I could do my vocalise, just incase I forget the words. Tickles could play the organ. Lidd could do her Panis anglica It would be fun. Might make the poor lad run for miles, but we'd enjoy it.
Do ya think the landlord at the Purple Camel would let us throw the party for the poor lad?

Watcha Girls! I have been a little busy lately. Eddie won his way to a major pony show, Dobbin was very jealous and so I had to take him too, Lidd flooded the house, (mine, not hers,) after a particularly wild bath, we had three feet of snow, the postman ran away with the barmaid from the Purple Camel, they have put a new screen around the skips at Tesco's and I get rather carried away doing a really long crossword puzzle and lost track of the time. Have I missed anything?
miss_tickle_thea
Mar 3 2008, 11:02 PM
I found my fame at Ripoff, May and I went to London and Horrids and Covent Garden where I took over the opera and met a very friendly taxi driver, then we came home and I've been hiding in the organ ever since and missed Summat's great grandson's birthday. Just sitting here finishing the champagne on my own, care to join me? *hic*

Mar 3 2008, 11:17 PM
Yes please. Have you got another straw?
The Old Lady
Mar 4 2008, 09:37 AM
Have you missd anything???

So much, Addy. Apart from what Tickles said, we had a disaster when someone threw a flute down Tickles organ pipe. Then Mad Thomas Looney went down the pipe to get it, which morphed into a flue, and then he was stuck
Green watch came out to rescue him after Liddy lit a fire underneath him to flush him out

Then we went out with green watch. Not sure if the flute ever made it out
So not much has happened really
Nice to have you back you old reprobate.
May.

Is Harry Parry around?

Can I join you, my organ pipe is doing my head in!
petrat
Mar 4 2008, 01:08 PM
Hi Tickles,
Of course you can my old pudding. I have made this large sand bag and I am practising balancing it on the sea wall and then bashing it sideways into the ocean. I have put a long rope on to the top so that I can haul it back again. It's good fun. Here, have a try.
Harry Parry? No , not yet..........
miss_tickle_thea
Mar 4 2008, 01:11 PM
Oh this is jolly good fun! *THWACK* *THWACK* *THWACK*
Hang on, where's the rope??
SueHM
Mar 4 2008, 01:15 PM

petrat
Mar 4 2008, 01:43 PM
Here Tickles. Spit that sea water out and grab hold of this life belt. Honestly! Two glasses and you make a complete spectacle of yourself.
Now wring yourself out and we'll go to the cafe for a hot drink. Don't throw that fish back; he'll do as supper for the cat.
The Old Lady
Mar 4 2008, 04:11 PM
Is Clarri Barri still coming to Anglesea then?

If he doesn't, and after all this practise we could push someone else in. Who do you reckon then Addy???
May be wicked.
miss_tickle_thea
Mar 4 2008, 08:36 PM
Well, that was a bit of excitement for the afternoon wasn't it girls? *Shiver*
Seemed to have contracted mild hydrophopia!
petrat
Mar 4 2008, 11:08 PM
Never mind, Tickles. Have a glass of water. That'll put you right.
If we don't see Harry Parry in Anglesey we'll just push that Big Mac person into the sea. Then he can tell him all about it!
Panad anyone?
SueHM
Mar 4 2008, 11:09 PM
Phew, I'm gasping. Shall we have some cheese and biskits too? I'm feelin' a bit peckish..
The Old Lady

Mar 5 2008, 08:36 PM
No, it has to be ice cream, custard, raspberries, cream, a dash of mustard and some crunchy topping for me.
Then I need to get busy on my natural horn for that Petrat person's grand finale thing for Saturday.
