Yes please Add. I have a headache. Own fault though, I had a glass of red wine with my beef at lunch time, and am suffering for it now.
And it will get worse Add, I have to go out tonight with Barry. We are going to Symphony Hall to listen to Chris Rea. Very noisy what??
May goes upstairs to get ready singing, "This is the road to that hot place"Carrot Cake??
May.

Out with that Barry Parry, May? Heavens woman, what are you thinking of? You'd be safer out with a band of pythons, old bean. The very idea!
Lidd seems to have gone off again and so does Tickles and so I am going to have an evening in by the fire. I am going to bring some of the snow in on a tray to do some model making. It's a bit too cold outside to do it there.
I may make a new hat too.
The Old Lady
Mar 24 2008, 12:28 PM
NO Addy, not Clarry Larry, another Barry that I know and you don't

He's very good with his hands............plays the guitar a treat.
Clarri is more an octopus than a python Add, an instrument in each tentacle........a clarinet, a saxaphone, a descant recorder and so on.
Mr Rea was very good Addy, if a little loud, but I just turned my hearing aids down a bit. The intro to "The Road to that hot place" was very good. He did the blues as well. All he needs to add in is some jazz and he'll be able to do the lot
What did you model in snow Addy?? Did you put it in the freezer??
May.
petrat
Mar 24 2008, 01:21 PM
Yes, you are right about Barry Parry, May. An octopus if ever I saw one! A one-man band wot ought to be banned as Liddy would say.
My snow model was not really a success so I just added it to the stew pot instead. It seemed a pity to waste good snow.
I have decided to sel my natural horn on ebay. I had reached dizzy heights with it and now i want to try an alphorn instead. I am going to have some yodelling lessons too and then try one of those grade one challenge things. Do you think that I would get any sponsors from the Camel?

No, no! You are thinking of a kangaroo! Harry Parry is hopeless on one of those. No sense of balance at all!
Haddock Lil was particularly taken with his kazoo though. No taste, that one!
Did you know that the opposite of a kangaroo is a can'tgaroo? Liddy's bert invented that one. Terrible isn't it!
The Old Lady
Mar 24 2008, 11:39 PM
Add, I didn't think that snake lady read this thread

Maybe she does after all
Hello BOA
There's a lot more to Larry than meets the eye Add, clarinet, saxaphone, descant, kazoo...........did you hear him on that thing, awful wasn't it?? Nearly as bad as moi, you only have to ask that singing lady, Katyjoy to verify that

She was next to me on her recorder.
Anyway Add, did you have a good day??
Where are Lidd, Tickles, Rhonda and Joanie???
May.
petrat
Mar 25 2008, 12:01 AM
Yes, the snake lady is back. Hi Feather old thing. (Very old thing indeed!) How's your snakes dear? Her niece was down in Anglesey the other day playing with the Marquis' fine instrument.
I don't know where the others have gone but they've been gone for several days. Up to no good I'll be bound! No better than they ought, that lot. Not a touch of refinement between the lot of them.
Do you think that Feather Boa wants a panad? She's gone a bit quiet. Perhaps it is because the second snake is wrapped around her throat a bit too friendly-like? She does look a bit purple.
A good day? I think so. I really can’t remember.
The Old Lady
Mar 25 2008, 12:09 AM
Can't remember Add??? How many gins have you had dear?? Too many by the sound of it.
I think that they've all gorn orf with Larry and Winford, dressed in cycling shorts and drinking my favourite scotch, up to Scotland, and moved in with Joanie. Bet they've even taken Tickles rather large organ and Barking Tom on the top
Bet that BOA woould love a Panad, expecially if I made some carrot cake to go with it.
May.

Mar 25 2008, 06:30 AM
Make it a panad quick May. Feather is looking rather unwell now. That snake is being far too friendly, hanging on to her neck like that. She looks as if she could use a glass of your favourite tipple too, and rather fast if she is going to survive the advances of said snake.
I am off for a ride on Dobbin. See you later. Tally ho old duck.

Mar 25 2008, 11:50 AM
Was that home made carrot cake I saw going around and a nice panad to dunk it in?
Don't want none of that supermarket rubbish!
Best keep the rodents out of the way, it's a while since my pets had fresh meat.....
The Old Lady
Mar 25 2008, 12:39 PM
ALways home-made Boa, have a slice, do

Did you have a good ride Addy. No falling off I trust. Did you have a ride past Plas Newydd, where I did my triumphant recital on the joanna? I'll have to do my performance diploma soon on my trumpet Add. Can you coach me dear?
Add, they have some ladies cycling shorts in Lidl on offer, shall I buy us some??
May.

Mar 25 2008, 06:00 PM
I had a lovely ride thanks, Great May. We went along the new footpath round the village, past the Camel and down towards the old quarry. I didn't fall off and I didn't nod off either. It has been known!
Still no sign of the others? They must have had a good weekend. I expect that they will surface soon.
Want to have a go on my new and extra-large supersized crunhorn May? I made it from a kit. Good innit?
The Old Lady
Mar 25 2008, 07:58 PM
Love the new crummyhorn Add. The kit was a good idea, I like recycling. The baked bean can in the middle was novel, and the ring pulls for keys was brilliant
Shall we go for a swift half in the camel Add??
May.

Hello girls!

Did you miss us? Would have come back sooner if we hadn't got snowed in.

Just as well we weren't wearing cycling shorts really.
The Old Lady
Mar 25 2008, 11:02 PM
Well you should be Joanie, thay are all the rage here in Anglesea. We have 2 pairs each on offer from Lidl.
Bryn the singer nearly passed out with passion when he saw Addy in hers down the Camel. Said he'd never seen anything like it in his life

I bet he hadn't. He's led a very sheltered life you know.
Panad??
May.
The Old Lady
Mar 28 2008, 01:25 PM

Afternoon Lidd, there's some strange goings-on on other threads today. They're casting nasturtiums on my character because I showed 'em my lacy gloves. Lidd, racy gloves are a neccessity when you have hot flushes like I get..........you have to have the holes to keep cool
Here's a panad and some bara brith.

The Old Lady
Mar 29 2008, 03:58 PM

I've run out of sugar and flour now, ah well. Have to do the Waitrose skips later. Addy always does the Lidl ones.............no class that woman

Posh butties though, May. Bung us another of those white ones.
Miss Ross
Mar 29 2008, 04:03 PM
Sorry, I've been trying out my new cycling shorts. It's been raining though and they don't seem to be very waterproof.
How about the Morrisons skips? Or is that even less classy?

I'd love a pair....they look a bit sharp though!
petrat
Mar 29 2008, 04:05 PM
Morrisons skips are the best. Full of dead Easter eggs they are now.
The Old Lady
Mar 29 2008, 04:07 PM
YOu 2 will be the death of me. Asda and Morrisons..........humph
Waitrose is the best.

Even the rats in the skips have plums in their mouths
May.
petrat
Mar 29 2008, 10:02 PM
Well, what a waste of good plums then! Most of the rats that I have seen like meat and chocolate rather than fruit. So does Liddy's Bert come to thing of it. No five-a-day for him!
Panad anyone? Eddie and Dobbin are in the kitchen because of the bad weather but there is room for a few more.
Miss Ross

Look what I got in the post this morning girls!

Berlin, Germany
April 2008
Hello Jeannie,
I thought that by now some of you might be wondering where I am. Well, I've come to the homeland of one of my idols, Bach. Yes, that's right - I'm sending you this from Berlin. Have arranged to buy a little cottage in Essen; the local men have been most helpful and the organs are truly wonderful!
Please say hello to the other ladies, and Lidd, for me. You must all come and visit soon!
Yours, Tickles x

You got us thrown out for playing the old boy's best piano if you recall. We got banned from several places on that trip. It was great fun!
