what a relief!!
i went in the room, and he was sitting at the back, and there was a steinway

GRAND in there...!!!!
he asked me to play d major and f# major scales, and i was thinking - wow! he's really nice! then he asked for Eb melodic minor, and i was so happy!
then rest of it was fine although I messed up the arpeggios, i thought i would! The pieces were fine, sight reading was really really good!
On the aural test where you have to listen to a piece and talk about it, he played this piece which went loud then quiet then loud then quiet then loud then quiet. So when he asked me the dynamics, i said "well it went loud then quiet (Etc)" and he said "but what IS loud?" and i didnt understand and he said "well, we need some technical names here sofie!!" and I laughed and said forte and piano but i hadn't actually practised that with my teacher properly.....
never mind! afterwards he said "i wish you luck with grade 7 and 8" so now im happy, very, very happy
thanks for everyone's luck and crossed fingers!! it was very helpful - well it must've been

cool, sounds like a good exam, i just hope my examiner is as kind, sadly i'm playing on a yamaha baby grand, which is nice - but a little bright sounding - good for the jazz piece!
