I teach a clarinet pupil in scarborough but due to unforseen circumstances she is having to do her grade 2 exam in york on Friday 9th July. Is there a pianist at the exam centre that she can use, or anyone recomend anyone to do it as we cannot find a pianist in scarborough willing to travel to york.

Yulia, I'm afraid you didn't read her post. She's looking for a pupil in York. If you don't know, that's the city New York was named after. It's also on the other side of an ocean.

I didn't realise there was a Scarborough near New York, I must have missed that the last 2 times I visited.

O, sorry. Somehow I overlooked the city name. I really could not help in this case. To my surprise, Scarborough near New York does esist. It can easily be found using map&directions link on www.msn.com. It is on the East shore of Hudson river between Ossining and Sleepy Hollow.

Go to Musicteachers.co.uk and do a search for an accompanist in the relevant location.
