Anybody official here with any information about a possible jazz violin syllabus?

It seems unfair to move ahead with higher grades for jazz piano before a violin syllabus is even considered. I've been told that there are no plans in place for a violin jazz syllabus in the forseeable future - it's a bit frustrating.

No wonder they don't do a jazz violin syllabus - nobody except me seems to be remotely interested.

Yeah, it would be good to do jazz on the violin. I'd like to try that!

wow, how i'd love a jazz violin exam! I would do it certainly (hinting to AB). It's not so rare really.

I too would like to see a jazz syllabus for violin.

The AB could ask Violinia to help compile one and do a pilot test. Good Luck!
