When I saw the black screen and the word Canon, I thought it was going to start with an ad for Canon equipment! rolleyes.gif

Well, that's it. You can buy Pachel & Bell, and Canon stuff at Curry's, should one want it.

Did you know... there's a site, and as long as you can roughly notate the piece onto it, it does a scan and comes up with possible pieces it could be, even if you're not in the right key! Can't think of the link... It kind of spoils the fun though!

And a mobile fone site.. you dial it up, play the tune down the fone and it texts you back the answer.. (or did I dream that.. blink.gif )

Nope, it exists! It costs about 50p a song, I think.

It's called Shazam, and you dial 2580. Only works for pop music though dry.gif dry.gif mad.gif mad.gif

There's a site called www.songtapper.com where you just tap in the rhythm using the space bar and it gives you a list of possible pieces - heavily weighted towards pop music although it does have some "classical" stuff (it tends to guess the William Tell overture for anything with lots of notes in it!). Gets a bit addictive.....

doesn't recognise the theme from swan lake - I wonder what it would make of flight of the bumblebee
