Hi - can anyone tell me what the different sections of the practical exam are out of please?

Presuming you're talking ABRSM, the three pieces are out of 30, the aural is out of 18, the scales are out of 21 and the sight reading is also out of 21. Makes 150 altogether, 100 is a pass, 120 a merit, 130 a distinction. smile.gif

The pass marks for each section are: 20 for pieces, 14 for scales and sight reading and 12 for aural.
What grade are you doing?
