Grade 8 Oboe tomorrow... has anybody got any insightful last-minute tips to put the icing on the cake, so to speak? Anything to make a performance stand out? Thing is, I'm going to lose all sorts of marks on scales and aural, so I need as many from my pieces as possible!
Anticipatingly gratefully,
Oboemeister

Enjoy playing and if you play a wrong note don't move an inch - keep going and be confident presentation is very important - prehaps not what you wear, but how you stand and how you speak.
If you enjoy it, the audience - in this case the examiner will to.

Go for it, enjoy yourself, and do your best. Your best is all anyone can ask of you.
I hope it all goes well for you, the best of luck!
