Hi to all pianists - My name is Amy and one of my favourite things in life is playing the piano - i have been studying the instrument for the past 11 years. I particularly like chopin and rachmaninoff. Are their any pianists out there who share the same likes of artists with me and any hints about how to play them perfectly?

I share the same love of playing the piano too, I've been playing for 14 years, almost 15 actually, that's frightening where time goes!

I'm just getting into Chopin, I love the Fantasie Impromtu op66, can you play it, heard it? It's gorgeous, very fast, but I am getting there with it.
What pieces do you play by Chopin?

Do you teach the piano? play any other instruments?

me too like playing piano, but I like more those of Baroque pieces like Bach, Handel, Pachbel (sp?) but I also like Chopin Nocturn and Waltzes.

in my opinion playing Chopin is difficult, you must really master the technique well.
