Hello,

If you happen to be in London on Friday 21 July and don’t have much to do, feel free to come to my piano recital (starts at 8pm and will last for about an hour). There's more info on my website at http://www.icarus3.com/concert.html
where you can watch/listen to extracts from my programme. You can make reservations online or by sending me a personal message.

Thanks for your time.

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it, but I hope it goes well and you and the audience enjoy it.

Thank you! It did go well. The concert was filmed and recorded live, so I will upload some videos of the concert on my website (www.icarus3.com). I promise to do it by Thursday 27th July.

Thanks again for your kind wishes.

Thanks for your words of encouragement! I've always donated all the money from my concerts to charity and will continue to do so until the day I die.

Take care,

Yes I did, with the help of my 'team'. Without them, I would not have been able to organise it and we would not have had a packed hall. Organising a piano recital is not as hard as you think. The most important thing is marketing. I've built up a following over the years and that helps too. I chose the Warehouse because it has one of the finest pianos in London (Steinway model D) in excellent condition; the venue has incredile acoustics too.

It turned out well. I mean, I always play better at home, but it wasn't bad. In truth, I'm never satisfied completely, but I've learned not to let myself down and appreciate how lucky I am just to perform in front of an attentive audience.

Yes, I organised the concert myself, but I had good people helping me distribute flyers, spread the word etc... I was also able to email over 2000 people with an interest in music.

I did try to find a sponsor but couldn't in the end. So I had to bear the cost myself.

If you want guidance on organising your own piano recital, don't hesitate to contact me.

Take care,
