I happened upon a video on google video last night, and it has really nice music. I play the video just to listen to the music. I would really like to just be able to listen to the music as a music track, rather than having to play the video, eg make it into an mp3 or some such file. Is this possible, and if so, how?
Advice appreciated

I know that it is possible, my Dad has done this for me under linux. Not too sure how it would work under windows though.

Well not sure if this is legal (eg copyright etc), you should check first, but you could record it using audacity (which you can download free) while you are running the video, and then save as an mp3 or whatever to your hard drive.
