Hi, I don't know much about dips, but a couple of things I've picked up on the foruns is 1. that people get a bit cross if you use text talk, and 2. it is a good idea to vary the programme in your dip

...so you might want to include some Chopin (Romantic) I know he wrote a lot for the piano and some of it (I don't play the piano so this might be a rubbish statement) sounds not too tricky to play, and maybe some baroque like a Bach Prelude and Fugue.

Don't be deceived - Mozart is NOT easy to play. It's not just a matter of playing the notes - Mozart/Haydn inparticular have a very difficult style of interpretation to master........and I've met very few - if any - grade 6 level pianists who are capable of such playing.....take people's advice - work towards grade 7 then 8 first, before you think about doing a diploma. At diploma level it's definitely not just about playing the notes.......

Incidentally you obviously haven't read the replies on your other thread - you were told there not to use text talk.......it's against forum rules - if you read the rules at the top of every forum page.........

Yes, the K311 is full of traps and difficult to pull off if you are not experienced.

K311's 1st movement is Grade 8 standard while the next 2 movements are Diploma standard.
I've played the K311 for leisure.
The 3rd movement is rather memorable for me as I played it in Pianists Performers' Festival 2006 in Singapore.
I wish you luck in learning Mozart's K311!
