Has anyone noticed a few regulars to the flora et fora are seeming to be deleted?! Could this be the end of CISD at last?!

This webpage basically. "Flora et fora" is a play on words of "Flora et fauna" meaning plants and animals? in Latin, and "fora" being the plural of forum

There's an explanation from Christine somewhere that explains that members aren't being deleted, but there was simply a series of errors this afternoon which made people appear to have become unregistered. However, all these members are still registered and there is no serious problem any more.

I've just experienced something strange...
If you go into 'Viva Piano', and go on to the pinned thread that is closed, the bottom post has, on my PC, some rather interesting aspects. Namely, the navigation menu and language menu have been inserted into it in place of the text.
What's gone off there then?

If it's what I'm thinking, most of the old posts from years ago are like that.

I hope so, because I've just posted in it, so my computer has severe nasties if it isn't.

That may be, but I was still unregistered until I went through the re-registering process.
I could read but not post anywhere.

Do you mean re-registering or did you just have to log back in maggie. I think registrations are still closed.

Well - yes I see. I don't know. I did more than just log in - because I put in my normal user name and password, and it rejected them.
I had to go through a "retrieve your password" thing, then it seemed to start again, because I ended up changing my password.

You've probably noticed that your post above shows you as registered.
There are still a lot of gliches scattered across the forum, I'm sure the administrators will continue to try to get them fixed tomorrow and subsequently.

Car ExpertNot that I've noticed with my post count, but if anyone else's post counts have decreased, perhaps this points to the forum losing posting records for late yesterday/early today - it may also be related to the PM loss, as I'm sure people will have sent/received PMs in that time.
