Hi all...

I normally play Soprano Cornet in a Brass Band but have recently started playing trumpet for a group.

I have been playing on a Blessing Long-Bell Cornet which was OK to start with but now I am really getting into it I need to get a trumpet.

I have been told to look at Yamaha 4335 in Silver and the Jupiter 812RL.


Have any of you played these instruments? what do you think?

Yamahas are great. I've played several, including most recently the Xeno - it's lovely!

Xeno will pe a bit out my price range tho.

I have heard the 4335's play really well though... and i'm after a Silver one.


I was given a price - £395... is that about normal?

I went for the 4335 in Silver.... very nice instrument.

Plays nice, everything moves freely. Highly recomended
