Age is really catching up, for me! When I played C4, Jack in the Box or Merry Andrew, the new G7 Piano pieces, I thought it was included in the AB exams in earlier years. Did I remember wrongly? If I'm correct, can anyone of you tell me which year it was and which grade then?

It was listed as piece 4A for grade 7 in 1979.

I think I've not played that in the exam then.
I just have too many books at home. I checked through all the likely ones, I just don't seem to find that piece in my books (not the Mikro book V). Looked at the piece at the library as I don't have the Mikro book V. It 'sounded' familiar and I thought I played it before.

It's quite possible it has appeared again in the exam lists between 1979 and now - I 've not got a complete set. I did very little exam teaching in the eighties and early nineties for instance (we were living abroad between 1988 and 1994), and I've no exam information for those years.

Maybe someone has lists for the eighties and nineties?

Merry Andrew was a Grade 7 List C piece in 1992. FAB STUFF!
