Hi.

Is anyone else playing in a summer concert this year. I am and i was wondering if you are are you nervous. I am playing my first ever 2 solos infront of about 600 people and I am really scared. ADVICE IS REALLY NEEDED.

that must b a big concert 2 get 600 people in it! good luck with it! ive got a concert on thursday 8th july not that nervous cos its not a huge one but still worried in case i mess it up! more worried about taking my grade 5 tuesday argh! lol!

Hi, good luck I'm sure you will do well. I've got a school concert soon, can't remember when, I'm not too nervous at the moment because I don't actually know what I'm playing! If I have a solo I will be and if not I won't. I'm sorry I haven't really got any advice for calming nerves, because when I get nervous I just remain so until I've finished the performance!

Good Luck with your grade 5 tommorow.[i am more worried about my grade 5]. It will be fine.

Good luck! What I would do is when you're playing just try and close your mind down to everything, just concentrate solely on the sound and the notes and the music you are playing, I think all you can really do is just focus, focus, focus, at least thats what I do. Good luck!
