Read both books when I was about 15. I Claudius & Claudius the God by Robert Graves.

Now I'm revisiting them after picking up the vids...Parts 1 & 2 anyway... from a charity shop. Thoroughly enjoyed them and thoroughly peeved off when I found out Parts 3 & 4 existed, but I've sorted that out.

Therefore I was surprised to see BBC4 showing Episode 1 just now and believe the second episode is on tomorrow.

Please check it out, because it's great.

It also appears family life hasn't changed much over the past couple of thousand years or so rolleyes.gif huh.gif wink.gif

Enjoy!

Semele, I would have recorded it to watch later but, yesterday after several days with nothing decent to watch on telly (prom excluded) at 9pm there were three programmes I wanted to watch. I ended up watching blizzard, and recording silent witness. That's today's luchtime telly sorted.
