Hi!
I work for an online music shop [web address removed by moderator]. I am not trying to advertise here but rather I'm looking for some help.

The site which is up at the minute has really cheap music books for almost every instrument. However a new much bigger and more comprhensive site is currently being designed. We will be adding a lot of musical instrument accessories e.g. reeds, slide-o-mix etc .

We really want the new site to be the first really comprehensive cheap on line music store, so if people could tell me some of the accessories which they buy most often and the brands they prefer, I'll get onto the supplier get them added.

As a musicians we just can't find everything from cheap music books, accessories to information about musical events all in the one place. So we are making it! It really is quite a large project and we have some well known companies involvced in the project.

If there are any other services which you think the young or old student could benefit from in this comprehensive site ( except for the products being cheap, thats our main aim anyway!) please do tell me. We want this site to be comprehensive and useful to all musicians , so now is your chance to mould how it will look!

Thanks for your help,

Adam

Adam,

Thanks very much for your posting. Unfortunately I have had to remove the address of your website since, despite your best intentions, we are unable to allow advertising on the forums. This is a strict rule that must apply to all users. As I'm sure you'll understand the Associated Board must remain impartial and be careful not to be perceived as endorsing any particular product or service.

I've left the rest of your message up there though, as it's obvious that you are keen for your website to provide as many useful products and services as possible to musicians out there - which is great news!

So - if any of our users would like to volunteer to take a look at Adam's site and provide him with feedback and ideas, please get in touch with him directly by clicking on the PM (Private Messaging) button at the bottom of his message.

This will allow you to email Adam directly and request the URL of the website (which I'm sure he will be delighted to provide!) so that you can take a look and let him know your thoughts.

Best of luck with your site Adam!

Best regards

Christine Morris
