Right.... i have been having a debate over this piece by dvorak, everyone must know it and I say the original key is Gb, but she says all the copies she has are in G.
Please help me and tell me you have the Gb copy

My one is Gb, and I don't think it's the abridged one. It lookes realy difficult to me.

The original is definitely in G Flat, and this is the key it should be played in.
Even if you have a G copy its not too difficult to play in G flat , which you should try. Just allow for the accidentals.

Mine's in G... Why do they do that? I had no idea it was not the original key, and, no, it wouldn't be any hrder to play in Gb - in fact it might be easier!

I also have a copy of this arranged for Four Hands - looks like fun and worth a shot - it's in the Library of Piano Classics - big fat book published by Amsco.

oops! i shouldve made that clearer. i'm the one who thought it was in G. but the thing is, allllll my copies are in G and i work in a music shop on saturdays and all the editions in there are also in G!!! #######...
