I'm looking to sell a Leblanc clarinet, but I don't know a reasonable price to ask for it. The list price in 1998, when it was purchased, was $2,850. I'm not sure exactly what model it is, but the sales receipt says:

Leblanc 1x 2000S#61182

It was played for three years and is in excellent shape. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!

If I was going to sell it I think I would knock off 10% of the first price when it was new. And if it is in good condition then you could probably get away with only taking 5% off the price when new.

Anyway, why do you want to sell it? Are you giving up, tryting to raise some cash or are you buying a better model?

Then you wouldn't sell it.

As a rule, you take 10% off per year owned until you reach 50% of the original price. It may in fact be less than this, but it's NOT going to be more expensive.

I'd say you should ask $1600
