Hehe, it is indeed! I will have to watch again. When I was listening on "listen again" I was a bit away with the fairies and I honestly didn't know, when that started and rather startled me back into action, whether it was just him or if I had got into the Sinfonia Concertante and it was some sort of dual cadenza. I'm going to have to watch again - I was looking and thinking, "What...? how???"

That bowing technique is the same as in the Andante of the Am Sonata by Bach.
I need to track down those cadenza! Determined to learn them!

Actually my great passion is Kreisler (Fritzi). I LOVE him... such a pity he died about 40 years ago, and then of course I would have had to get past his wife who by all accounts was a complete monster.

But then perhaps I could have rescued him....

Anecdote:
