I don't know, but when It's the holidays, I use it a lot.

A few hours a day I think....no more than 2? unsure.gif
Bing
I keep the page open on my computer at work, but have to have some important document available to switch to if my boss walks past.

Depending how bored I am depends on how long I spend reading the threads here - at the moment, most of the day!

Mushroom, it's not just how much of your time is spent on here, it's how useful your contributions are. Everybody has the freedom to post but if you don't use that wisely you will end up getting an anti fan-club. With all due respect, you are only grade two so you have very little musical knowledge compared to virtually every other member on here. So why would I wish to read 10 of your posts instead of 1 of YAP's or Sarah's? Quite often I will spend half an hour or so reading the forums without replying simply because I don't feel that my input would contribute to any of the discussions. Try and think before posting as you seem to be getting on a few people's nerves at the moment.

Like Bing, I often have the page open, but I don't look at it for one or two hour gaps...

Heh. I don't waste my childhood in front of a screen, I waste it reading about maths, making mathematical wall charts, doing mathematical exercises, playing with a scientific calculator and anything else that involves maths...

That and playing D&D computer games, since I can't afford the real thing... sad.gif

I spend a lot of time on the forums, I'm exhausting the little possibilites I can do round here!

Who was it that said they lived in middlesborough so nothing to do? I'm currently sat 15 mins biking away from my corner shop (or 5 mins driving), with no mobile signal unless I stand on a chair, my nearest town to go shopping or find any form of entertainment 20 mins drive away and no chance whatsoever of "popping" in on the off chance to see my friends, as the closest ones live 15 min drive away. rolleyes.gif

On the other hand, if I drive 15 mins the other way I can be sat on a moor, surrounded by sheep in the lake district smile.gif

I like reading other people's contributions more than I like to post my own.

So you don't think it's possible to do a little bit too much maths? huh.gif If I revised one subject that much all my knowledge of all the others would go straight out of my head. rolleyes.gif
Dulciana
I pop in and out for short periods at a time! I tend to do this now instead of flopping down in front of a TV programme that I've no particular interest in when I've got a few minutes to spare.

Is this a bit like alcoholism...? We admit we do it, but may not be keen to work out how much... unsure.gif

Of course it isn't!No when you're me...

I don't revise maths, I've never found it necessary. Facts go in and stay in. I just go and learn more instead.

When it's a school day, I use the computer for an hour first thing when I get up. Thats 6:00~7:00. Most of it is used for the forums.

When I get back from school, I'm buisy....
waching TV
practicing the piano/violin
playing games
Going out

So I don't have time

I'm with Mushroom on the whole too much maths thing. You need another hobby!

Math is great! Why change? And music is very mathematical. They go together!

Very wise, Boo ! smile.gif

I voted less than 1 hour a week. Actually, this used to be half an hour to an hour a day, but now it's been ages since I posted on the forums.
People might (or not) have noticed my absence; I've dragged myself off the forums because it was taking just too much of my precious time, however interesting and enjoyable it was (which made it difficult to stay off).
So this post is not like "I'm back", it's rather like "I'm just passing by..." tongue.gif
Greetings to everyone who remembers me. smile.gif

Because I don't come on here to wow people with my magical understanding of complicated musical terms and music etc. I come on here to entertain myself, and it says that the cafe is for people who want to not talk about music, so that's why I like it. smile.gif I think it's a bit like complaining because someone who is very bad at science keepscontributing an english class of which the pupils are all roughly the same level. wink.gif

I don't really know many people who do! However in the process of entertaining yourself, you seem to be un-entertaining a lot of other forum members who are older, wiser, more knowledgable, have been here longer and are just generally good people to have on a music forum. No-one is saying you should leave, just try not to make your voice heard in every corner of the forum.
