I'm waiting for my GCSE results.

Me too

And my AS MusTech re-sit, although that won't change my grade at all, I re-took because its nearly all coursework and it was my best module, but I got my lowest mark on it. My weakest module ended up getting full marks so I thought I'd have another go - nothing to lose.

I'm waiting for my GCSEs, very nervous as predicted high grades that are very unlikely!
I'm sure we'll all be fine anyways

Luckily I've still go two years cos I'm only just going into year 10 (slightly worried about the Drama though cos our school's only ever got 1 A* and 3 As because they teach it so badly!)

I'm getting all my GCSE results next week, but I'm going to be in Switzerland on Results Day, so I won't get them till I come back on the Saturday!
To be honest I don't mind much about waiting the extra days, it's the fact that I miss running around the school hugging my friends and screaming, which I would have liked

I just got the results of my Highers - AAABB (A in Music, French and English; B in Maths and Biology), so am very happy.

Especially considering I was predicted a D in Maths

So I can apply to all the universities I wanted to...phew.
Good luck to everyone else!

I'm waiting (probably more anxiously than he is

) for No 2 son's A level results on Thursday.
I had a minor panic earlier, as I suddenly realised yesterday that he might be going to Uni the same weekend as the Woodford concert. I've been checking the websites, but it seems that he's OK if he gets into Warwick (his firm choice) as he'll go the following week. If, however, it's Sussex, his reserve choice, it is the Woodford weekend, but he can go on the Sunday if he's in Hall. Not sure whether he'll get Uni accommodation for his reserve choice, though, so we'll have to wait and see. I'll get to Woodford by hook or by crook, anyway.

Hope he gets into Warwick! (not at all for selfish reasons, honest!)

Seriously, I hope he gets what he needs for his first choice - but I'm quite envious that he's apparently not stressed about it!
I think I said before, but good luck everyone: I still vividly remember waiting for exam results and I don't envy you, it's not fun at all. However judging by the intelligence often shown round here, I think you'll all do great

Well, he already knows his Maths result (A) as he completed that exam in January, and that means his Sussex offer (ABB) is more or less assured. He needs an A in Further Maths as well for Warwick, and a B in Chemistry as he has to count his Physics as the A at AS level they also want (got a B in Chemistry AS), so that's the main cause for concern. He'd be quite happy to go to Sussex, though, so that's why he's fairly relaxed.

Oh that's a nice position to be in: that's one good thing I can see about AS levels and modular exams, if you can have a rough idea of likely results before official results day.
I tried very hard to be relaxed about my results, as I had an excellent uni (Nottingham) as 2nd choice, but I had fallen in love with Durham and I'm just generally not very relaxed about results

so I was not a pretty sight on results day
Sounds like he doesn't need too much in the way of luck but sending good vibes anyway

PS: You know what really made me cross with A Level results? The unis found out a week before (at least, "in my day"

) and Bradford sent me a leaflet about "we'll have spaces available if you need to go through clearing"... Didn't half make me panic. Thought that was quite mean

No 2 son can get his results online from 8.00 am. Will he get up to look then? Most probably not.
If anyone remembers how I was this time last year, when both my elder two sons were getting results (A2/AS), and neither of them showed the slightest inclination to get them before lunch time, you'll appreciate that I might be in a similar state tomorrow.
Watch this space.
