Ooh, I was really surprised to see that one of the threads I started has been nominated! Thanks very much, whoever nominated it! 
Ditto! I was thinking too narrowly, of threads that were entertaining in themselves. I can see why the Grade 1 challenge is enjoyable in the wider sense, though.
As for "This is a test" getting nominated, I'm gobsmacked at that! Especially as it took me three attempts to get it closed......
All the threads nominated are really enjoyable , but my vote goes to Mr. B's " Come in , Sit down!"

We tried (to follow CM's instructions) several times but failed.
Apparently, it's not easy when one does not have a separate e-mail add and hubby won't hear of giving a kid an independent e-mail add of her own. His colleagues think it's a bad idea, too.

You could have an email address on her behalf, which she does not have control of, and to which only you know the password.

You can have parental controls on AOL too - can that affect email addresses too?

Well it certainly seems to have gone to me. I would like to know why...seems no reason to me unless it went very naughty at the end and I didn't see it.
I will mail the mods and ask why it is no longer around. They should give a reason - this is not Big Brother.
(If I turn out to be wrong on this last point, I will evict myself).
