Hi guys,
Last term, my teacher set me 'La Tarentelle' to play. I can now play this piece almost perfectly and absolutely love it! As she didn't set me anything else to do over the holidays, I decided to have a go at 'Les Carillons' but I am very confused!! There are two pages of music published in the ABRSM Grade 5 book but at the top of one page it says 'Alternativement'.
Does this mean that I play one of the two pages, depending on which I like the most?! I would really appreciate your help if you have recently played or are playing this piece.
Thanks in advance!

No! You play it all through, then go back and play the first page again. (da capo)

Sorry can't really help...although that piece does look very good to play:
I am playing the Gigue which is really quite complex, Dream from Enfantines and New Orleans Nightfall as my 3 pieces

yes you have to play from the beginning again after the whole piece and end at the end of the major section.
The alternativement is where the time signature changes from 2/2 to 4/4, so you can play the minor 4/4 section a little slower because it's in 4 crotchet beats. Hope that helps!
