Heartbeat Chorus (it's a barbershop choir from Stockport singing at the Llangollen international Eisteddfod)
that's the spirit
(ps I don't know how long the link will hold - the website says the videoclips are only there for a month after the eisteddfod)

Reminds me of the show choirs from high school, which is kind of funny since they're all like 40.

that's the refreshing thing - if you look at the youth choirs they're all good but quite a few of them give you the impression it's all desperately important and serious. You kind of associate mucking about and having fun more with children and it just struck me that these singers appear to be having more fun than any of the youth or children's choirs.
You must have gone to school in quite a musical part of the world Dagny - we didn't have any choirs like that where I grew up!

I went to an SCPA (school for the creative and performing arts), so we had a lot of show choirs and dance groups and general artsy types.

That sounds a bit like "Fame!". Was it good fun?

Some of it was cool. You could take dance instead of gym, for instance, and assemblies alwasy had a lot of music and dancing and stuff. It wasn't strictly a performing arts school though - about half the school was involved in it, but the rest (like me, I didn't start taking lessons until last year, my freshman year of college) just took normal classes.

Oh, lots! Let's see: I really enjoyed 'One Fine Day', also because we had cool movements for that, and 'Fun in Just One Lifetime' is great, and 'It's Raining Men' and lots of other ones as well...
