I'm not sure if this topic is out of line here, but I figured I'd give it a shot...

I'm applying to college next year, and if I get into my choice American school, Yale University (::crosses fingers:smile.gif I'll be able to become an Economics major (and music minor) with the ability to earn credits studying abroad. Now, New Jersey, where I grew up, isn't exactly the most exotic place, so I want to be able to take full advantage of the international studies program offered at not only Yale, but really at a lot of American universities. I'd really love to study in Great Britain one day, just because it's so culturally rich and diverse, not to mention the photographs I've seen of the gorgeous scenery. So I was wondering if any of you who are based in the UK could help me out... what schools over there are worth applying to if you were into economics and music? I know I still have a lot of research left to do, what with different curriculums and academic systems between the US and the UK, not to mention the nightmare that is the application process, but any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

According to The Times (newspaper), if you go http://www.timesonline.co.uk/section/0,,6734,00.html, and click on Economics then those are the best universities. However, take everything with a pinch of salt. Out of those, I am sure people can suggest ones where music is likely to be of a high standard.
