My flautist friend and I are searching high and low for some duo books as good as the "78 duos for flute and clarinet" books 1 and 2.
Does anyone know of any good books ? We have a relatively good standard (grade 8 both of us) so easy ones are not that useful.
Hungry for duos - thanks for your help rolleyes.gif

my girls play Flute and Clarinet, their teacher recommended Jazz Sticks(sp) as a duet book. Don't know if it will be worth you looking at they are both around Grade 4.

Why don't you try writing your own duets? I do that with my friend(both clarinet). Or, would you be able to find other duets, say for 2 flutes and then transpose them for clarinet and flute?

Thats what me and a friend do. We take a piece that we both like, and arrange it so the melody is split between instruments and then add some harmonies etc. They tend to work quite well. Also if you use a programme like Sibelius it transposes for you!!
