I have some guitar ensemble students, and i´m looking for teaching material. I have the music medals, but i´m looking for more ensemble pieces of all kind, within the copper-silver range. Anyone can help me with books you find as effective as the music medals? Thanks :-)

Hi Pedro. Where are you from? I think that most people here may not be familiar with the "copper, silver and gold" method of grading. If you can explain it to us you may well find that some of the guitar players here will give you ideas.

The copper, silver etc. are the ABRSM Music medals levels - similar to grades but for group teaching. Details are on this website.
Can't help with guitar, I'm afraid, but I would just like to say how useful I find the books as graded sight reading practice for my flute students.

Sorry Pedro. I had not heard of them.

You might like to try the Debbie Cracknell Book'Playing Guitars Together'. Search for Debbie Cracknell on Amazon and it should come up.

Oops, seems the Debbie Cracknell Guitar Ensemble book is no longer available. I noticed that there were a few easy ensemble books at Musicroom.co.uk

I was in a local Music Shop today and had a look at 'Playing Guitars Together' by Debbie Cracknell (Oxford University Press). Trios and Quartets looked about bronze/silver standard.

You can see my problem. Here in Portugal there are no music stores as in London, Paris, etc. I must order everything online, and sometimes a bit blind.
Its feels like a 3rd world country...
