1. You meet people you know from the Forums and greet them by their Forum name rather than their real name.
You know, I can't think of anyone who I've met from here who hasn't referred to me as YAP. The problem is when I start referring to AP using the name 'AP' to people who don't use the forum....
When talking to my mum or others I try to refer to forum people by their real names unless their forum names are reasonably "normal-name" sounding (katyjay, amber, etc), but I have to actually think about it and it seems really weird

YAP, all one word. The jury is still out on whether AP is an initialism or an acronym; my vote is for the former, unless in the context of 'AP and YAP'.
Yes, I would agree with the above. YAP is 'yap'; AP is Ay-Pee, except in the phrase Ap and Yap.
I agree too - you guys are APYAP in my phone, but I tend to think of you as "ay-pee" and "yap"

13. When you lie awake at night pondering the correct pronounciation of "janexxx" and "sbhoa".
Or: when you automatically read strange acronyms or unusual usernames as "normal" words, "oh jaynexx and sub-hoa are online tonight...."

When... you misread "Rinse pots before loading?" as "Rinse posts before loading?" in a thread's subtitle...

When..... you forget to eat before you go out because you were so immersed in an interesting thread....
