I see in the news that the 4 year marriage of Andre Previn and Anne-Sophie Mutter has ended.

They are citing the age gap (of over 30 years) as the reason, he is 77 she is 43.

So, Anne-Sohpie Mutter, what first attracted you to ageing millionaire Andrew Preview? This was his fifth marriage and her third, so maybe they just both like wedding cake.

Shame that the BBC couldn't have found a more up-to-date picture of Previn for the article.

It always amused me that the marriage made ASM Woody Allen's Step-Mother-in-Law. Guess I'll have to get my amusement elsewhere now. Wonder if she gets to keep that ginormous rock she wore on her left hand?

It is sad when relationships end and I feel very sorry for couples that have their marriages "picked over" by the news vultures. They are very fine musicians both, and it seems to me that this is very much their own sad and private business.
