We are moving in during the first week of October so we'll have the housewarming then.
By the way the champagne is 1997 Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque at £70 a bottle so don't drink it too quickly !

And what would we like for the new house ?- Happy times and lots more cats !

Well done Ian! Enjoy South Oxfordshire.

Champagne around here seems to be becoming something of a habit. Not that I'm complaining, of course!

Aug 27 2006, 08:26 AM
I have both elderberry and elderflower, and also some raisin and tea wine that tastes like sherry. Well done on the new house, let's keep the party going a few more days. Cheers!

Yes, how do you make instant coffee wine???
Sounds like I should learn that, seeing that I'm the coffee bar specialist in the ABRSM café!

It was a while ago but I think it was 2 tablespoons of instant coffee, a kilo of sugar made up to a gallon- dissolve the coffee in boiling water first. The finished wine doesn't taste like coffee either !
