Double post!!!

On which day of the week do these usually get organised? Presumably weekend days, but do folks find Saturdays or Sundays better? I have sprogs who have out-of-school lives, which affect Saturdays for both most weeks, but Sundays for the little one about once a month. Having said that, if it were to be early in January, the social lives might not have taken off yet. *Checks diary* Sprog 2's all-day stint in Glasgow is on Sunday the 15th.
Is there consensus on a possible venue yet? I can reach most areas from here and am not too worried - in reach of a train station would be good as if we decide to lug a harpsichord along, we'll need to send half the family by train.
