Hi
My clarinet playing friend and his girlfriend were around my house the other day, and decided they liked some music I had. So much, in fact, that they wanted to get a little group together and record it for our GCSE/A level music coursework... I have spent an hour and a half trying to write it down from the recording, and have something that could possibly pass for the first phrase. So, does anyone have any tips for dong this, or even better know where I could get hold of the sheet music for it? It's an Il divo song by the way.
Any help much appreciated!

Try doing a google search for a MIDI file for it. Then if you have a notation programme such as sibelius at home or at school you can open the MIDI file through that and it will give you the full score. You can then re-write the parts for the instruments you need.

Which song is it? I would have thought you could get it somewhere, Il Divo seem like a pretty big (and commercialised) group - would be surprised if it wasn't avaliable, unless it's a really new song!

Its Heroe, from their Ancora album. Not that new, but I guess thats its new enough not to be on alot of sites, as plenty have all the songs from the first album!

The following sites for sheet music are courtesy of Car Expert, which he kindly posted for me recently. Hope they're useful and that he doesn't mind me forwarding them.
Yep, no probs! smile.gif
