Hi, i am really interested in applying, primarily to a music college abroad. Has anyone any experience of this or could suggest any preferably english speaking ones?

Andy - please PM me with your email address. I am going away on Saturday and wont be able to contact you otherwise. I am also seriously considering music college in the USA, Canada and Israel as well as the UK. It depends what instrument and standard you are (all the very top places seem to be in the US and some don't accept many students anyway) as to where it's worth looking. For strings though, there is a Strad supplement (also available online) which has hundreds (thousands?) of places all over the world which offer any kind of uni course in music. Definitely worth a look, whatever instrument you play.

Here is an English speaking music college: New Zealand School of Music

Some of the other Unis here have music schools too, google should pop them up for you.

Interesting topic - I was thinking a while back about going to somewhere in either France, Germany or possibly Spain but didn't find anywhere speaking English (not surprising really!). Is there anything like UCAS for overseas universities? It would be so useful!
