Full Version: Why Doesn't The Ab Pruduce Books On Rachamninov/off?

I was highly disappointed when I found out that the music shop I work in sells absolutely no rachmaninov. It got me wondering, as we sell the most little known composers to Beethoven, Mozart... you know.

Well I went home and looked on musicroom.com, and it turns out the AB doesn't produce books dedicated to Sergei Rachmaninov (or Rachmaninoff), as in, in the signature series or such like.

Does anyone have any clue to why this is?!

I think it's Boosey & Hawkes but I may be wrong.......it could be due to copyright......it may be that one publisher has a monopoly on his music......not very sure how it works......
