Does anyone know how to put a crotchet symbol into a word document?
From the special character "dingbat" sets I can find a symbol for one quaver and two quavers. Is there a crotchet note symbol?
Thanks for any help from the more computer technically able.

If you're using MS Word there are lots of musical symbols in the Opus font and there is definitely a crotchet symbol.

Dear Allanah,
I am in MS Word, XP, but can't find Opus amongst the other 100 or so fonts.
Is this a special font which needs to be downloaded from MS Office online?

I'm using MS Word 2000 and Opus is one of the font options when you want to insert a symbol. There is also a font called Inkpen which is musical symbols.
If you haven''t got this option, pm your email address and I'll send you a Word document with all of the symbols on it. You can cut and paste then.

In Opus, 'q' is a crotchet. A capital 'q' makes the tail go the other way up
