Why the identity crisis?

No crisis! I just wanted to know the term favoured by the forumites here so that if we do get our Wales meeting up and running I know how to refer to us for press coverage, posters etc.

How do you pronounce the Welsh word?

How do you pronounce the Welsh word?

Its "forrr-um-weeerrrr" with rolled r sounds and the middle syllable accented. biggrin.gif

Hahaha. I tried to write the middle syllable in bold type but it just put a letter b before it and it looked a bit rude!

Oh please no! I have enough trouble pronouncing my "r"s as it is! Anything but a word with a rolled "r", please!!
sneekymum
I also post on MSE Forums (moneysavingexpert)- there we use the prefix MSE when posting elsewhere (such as messages in bottles on http://www.oceangram.com/ ) - so if you spot any usernames that start MSE ( like MSE sneekymum) you'll know where they usually live.

Perhaps the ABRSM forumites might be called by a similar prefix? (when out and about, not on home ground).

forr-um-weeerrr

Before the letters you want in bold you type [ b ] and after them you type [ / b ] but with all the symbols together and no spaces. It works on the same principle as starting and ending quotes, and you can do the same with the letter i for italic. If you want both bold and italic start the first, start the second, type the letters, end the second, end the first (is that called nesting?).

I'm so glad you thought it was funny as well! When I first saw CD's post, I posted a (I thought witty) response which picked up on what CD had said, and almost immediately found myself blocked from the forums. At first I thought it was the usual glitch, but when I still couldn't get on at midnight and then at around 7ish this morning, discovered a message saying I'd been "deleted", I thought I must have been moderated for inappropriate language ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif It's been horrible! So as soon as I got back on, I edited my post unsure.gif I'm so relieved I've not been deleted after all! biggrin.gif

.... But I still think it's funny laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif ph34r.gif

I wasn't on the forum last night, but judging by the lack of posts yesterday evening, I think the forum was down most, if not all of last night, perhaps someone else can confirm? smile.gif
