We've just received a virus via email. Given the virus in question, it has to be from someone who has both our email address and at least one other forum member's email address in their address book. Just to be on the safe side, could people do a virus scan?
It looks like it came from someone who uses NTL to connect to the Internet, but I can't be 100% certain.

the person who uses NTL who sent it would probably know that they had recieved a virus e-mail and would be able to tell that it was them
how do you know that they have a t least one other forum members e-mail address?
YetAnotherPianist

The virus sends an email from one person in the infected computer's address book to another person in the infected computer's address book. So all I know is that it's someone who has one of our email addresses and other forum members in their address book.
The NTL thing I found out by looking at the email headers, tracing where it came from; although the headers could be forged, so I can't be 100% certain that it was really from someone using NTL.

Well I would if I could find something remotly like a virus scanner. But theres nothing suspicious in the process list so I guess I'm okay!

My Mac is completly clean
And my new Macbook is just beautiful and would not sully itself by allowing a virus to get near it.
