Years ago I bought Noteworthy Composer and also have the free Finale Notepad program, but what I really want is a way of scanning sheet music and then editing it. Most programs that allow this seem rather expensive.

I did a search and found Melody Assistant and Harmony Assistant from Myriad software. They seem very reasonable and they also offer a scanning program for about 15 Euros (10 pounds?).

Has anyone used these?
