Can we use textile mark-up on these forums? Or HTML> etc.etc.
Sorry for my ignorance, but what is 'textile mark-up'?

You can use BB code, so for bold, you would say:
Swap the B for an I to get italics, swap it for a u to get underlined, etc.

I thought it was about the extortionate retail prices of fabric when compared to the wholesale prices

Well, I thought that it referred to the rising prices of M and S knickers!
