Hey, can anyone recommend any pieces on the Grade 6 Trombone syllabus.

Sorry, can't help, but do ABRSM do CDs for the trombone of the grade lists?

If you don't get too many responses on this thread here Ben, it may well be worth asking a moderator to transfer it to Viva Brass, where you may have more luck getting the responses you want. smile.gif

Hey La Chopinste. I have decided not to take the exam in october which would have been grade 5, but i thought i would take a look at the grade 6 syllabus to see if i could do that but in the next exam session smile.gif

Hi Ben

list A: Rimsky-korsakov trombone concerto mvt 2 (this concerto is an essential item to any decent trombone players repertoire in my opinion)
list b: The sunny side of the street or bone idyll
list c: Joot Hoot or either of the Bourgeois studies

That's what I would sugedt anyway.
